Family? Happily single, no pets at present but hoping to get some as soon as I live somewhere they're allowed! In the meantime I have potted plants.

What do you do for a living? Postgraduate student

What other hobbies do you enjoy participating in? Martial arts, horse riding, botany, visiting people

How long have you been writing fanfiction/making fanart? About 3 and a half years

How did you get started writing/making it? I've always loved writing so when I started reading slash I soon got the urge to contribute some of my own!

Which are your favorite characters to write/draw about? Fëanorians, Fingon, Eluréd and Elurín...and Glorfindel of course!

What is your favorite genre/style, etc to write in? A bit of everything! Most of my fics are medium-length angsty fics with a bittersweet ending, but I really enjoy breaking the mould.

What other fandoms besides LOTR have you written/drawn in? I haven't really! I once wrote some Star Trek fanfiction that was cringeworthily awful and will never see the light of day. I'd like to write Alexander fiction one day.

Do you write original fiction or poetry as well, either published or unpublished? A bit of fiction now and again. I wouldn't get it published, though, even if it was of a decent quality - it would be like asking people to pay to watch me breathing!

What gives you the best inspiration for your stories/pictures? Going outside into a field or park where I can pretend I'm all alone except for the birds/cows, enjoying the sunshine, insects and flowers and letting the Elves come to me. Oh, and chocolate-fuelled conversations with fellow fandom folks!
