How long have you been writing fanfiction?

How did you get started writing it? A friend got me hooked on Digimon in seventh grade. (The first two seasons were *so* the best.)

Which are your favorite characters to write about? Erestor, Glorfindel, Thranduil (though I haven't actually done anything with him, really. And I don't slash him)

What is your favorite genre/style, etc to write in? I write general and slash, h/c, angst, and vignettes, though I hope someday to produce an epic.

What other fandoms besides LOTR have you written in? Digimon. I've dabbled in Harry Potter, but never posted anything.

Do you write original fiction or poetry as well, either published or unpublished? I write original fiction and poetry, though I haven't done the former in a while for lack of time and energy.

What gives you the best inspiration for your stories? Usually other stories and songs. Mostly songs. But I don't write songfics.
