same house) with two cats and lots of fish. I also have two great sisters, an awesome army bro,
and wonderful parents who have all contributed one way or another to the fanfictional things I
write (and sometimes write with them). What do you do for a living? I am a head librarian, as per the official job title. What other hobbies do you enjoy participating in? I play bass (both electric and upright), read
and collect comics, and beyond that move eclectically from one interest to another on a whim. I
also like to kickbox from time to time. How long have you been writing fanfiction? Since I was about eight, but at the time I did not
realize that was what I was doing. It was ten years before anyone explained it to me, and in this
particular fandom I've only been playing in the sandbox for a few years now. How did you get started writing it? Writing fanfiction, it was a matter of my favorite TV show
going off the air and me wanting to continue it, so I wrote it for myself. I've gone through about
ten fandoms thus far. Specific to Tolkien's works, I cowrote a fic with my sister on what was
supposed to be a one-shot deal. That was hundreds of fics and many OCs ago. How the time
flies. Which are your favorite characters to write about? Glorfindel, Erestor, Haldir... and the Eldar and
Ainur in general. What is your favorite genre/style, etc to write in? I think I do well with humor, but I can write practically
anything. It all depends on what the muses tell me to write. What other fandoms besides LOTR have you written in? ThunderCats was the other main
fandom I participated actively in. The only other fandom I've spent time in online is Pokemon,
but I've written in other fandoms, just not posted things online (as most of it was years ago). I
also aid in the creation of some Harry Potter fanfic stuff for some people, but I don't actually
write any fics over there. Yet. Do you write original fiction or poetry as well, either published or unpublished? Yes, and yes.
Poetry, and also plays. I've been the most successful with my plays out of anything, actually. What gives you the best inspiration for your stories? Anything and everything, but especially my family and life around me. Anything else you would like to say? That was fun... let's all go have some cheesecake now!
