Erestor sat in the gardens, under the big oak reading a book. It was
a typical position for him when he found any small amount of time
during the day that he could relax before returning to his duties.
And it was with this knowledge that Glorfindel stood on the other
side of the clearing trying to pluck up his courage.

He held a single thornless red rose in his hand and he was in danger
of dropping it if he didn't stop rolling it between his fingers.

Taking a deep breath Glorfindel slowly made his way across the
grass; keeping his aim in sight at all times. Erestor looked so
beautiful sitting with the dappled sunlight shining on his liquid
black ink hair. Whilst such dark hair wasn't rare amongst elves;
Glorfindel believed that it was most beautiful on the elf before him.

Bending down he smiled softly at the start of surprise Erestor gave
once he realised that he wasn't alone. Smiling at the golden elf in
front of him Erestor's eyes dropped to see the rose held out to him.

One slim hand went to accept the rose whilst the other slid behind
Glorfindel neck to pull him into a first kiss.
