One evening.
The New Homely House:
Elrond and Celebrian smiled at each other across the chess board as
shrieks from their sons echoed through the house from the kitchen.
From the sounds of things Elladan was winning whatever competition
the twins were having; at least if Elrohir's yells were anything to
go by.
"Your turn my love" Celebrian smiled teasingly at her husband as she
released the pawn she had just moved.
"Hmmm, yes dear" Elrond replied somewhat distracted by the glow in
his wife's cheeks, cast by the candles around the room but assisted
by the secret they held between them.
Elladan and Elrohir entered the room then to discover their parents
gazing lovingly at each other. Something had changed between
Celebrian and Elrond recently and although the twins didn't think it
would turn out to be a bad thing; something had shifted in their
relationship.
"Naneth? Ada?" Elrohir said softly, he had continued throughout
their lives in Valinor to be the more sensitive, soft spoken twin.
He sighed as Elladan's arms came up to hold him close.
Celebrian looked to her sons first. "What? We're not allowed to act
as mushy as the two of you do?"
Elrond snorted then laughed at the expressions on the twins
faces. "Aren't the two of you leaving soon?"
"That sound like a hint to me" Elladan said rolling his eyes. "But
yes, we'll just finished getting cleaned up and then go pick up
Legolas and Melpomaen"
Elladan dragged his brother out of the room giving Elrohir only
enough time to smile his goodnight to his parents. They smiled back
at their youngest but once he was out of sight; they only had eyes
and thoughts for each other.
At almost the same time.
The Kingly Home:
Thranduil poured another glass of wine for himself before offering
the bottle to the others around the table. Rumil smiled at his
father-in-law and accepted the bottle to pour himself and Silinde
another drink. Too caught up in gossiping Anime and Silamir paid no
attention to the males at the table.
"You'd think they'd run out of things to talk about, wouldn't you?"
Silinde asked with a smile; accepting the glass from his husband.
"Elleth run out of things to talk about?" Thranduil snorted
amused. "Not possible"
"Yes after all there's." Rumil put his glass down and with a
straight face ticked items off his fingers. "Clothes, ellon,
parties, ellon, this new cosmetic. stuff, ellon, family, ellon,
neighbors, ellon."
At this point Thranduil, Silinde and Anime burst out laughing,
although Silamir was bright red.
"Ada! Hush your mouth" Silamir hissed at her father. Rumil just
smiled at his daughter and after a moment she smiled back.
"Is it my fault that Aneth and yourself are going to take Lauran
into town for her first party without parents around? Your uncles
and I used to use our time when un-chaperoned to check out the other
available elves - do you really think that even thousands of years
later; things among the young are any different?"
"Oh hush, ion" Anime said laughingly. There was a knock on the door,
and Anime's eyes widened. "Especially around Lauran, she's too young
for that sort of thing"
Thranduil laughed again as he left the others in the dining room to
go answer the door. He barely got the door open before his arms were
filled with a joyful elleth. Over a head of silver blonde hair
Thranduil smiled at Aneth.
A short while later.
The small private cottage:
"Well Aarin is already down there. He helped settings everything up"
Melpomaen said as he settled on the floor with Legolas, whom gave
his husband a warm smile before pulling the darker elf into his arms.
"Aneth and Silamir will also be there to look after Lauran" Saran
continued, stroking her husbands' hair. "Plus Orophin will be there
watching over them all, please love do not worry"
Mirilas sighed, leaning into his wife's touch. He saw the
sympathetic look his father gave him; and remembered that Erestor
and Glorfindel would go through this in a few years with his little
sister: Vashita. He smiled at Erestor and relaxed somewhat; he knew
he could trust not only his nieces and nephew but also his father-in-
laws; and brother-in-laws, brother. Their family got a little
confusing at time but he wouldn't swap it for all the mithril in the
world.
"Are we all still meeting up tomorrow for that picnic?" Glorfindel
joined the conversation, looking slight ridiculous as he squeezed
his large frame into his slender husbands lap.
"Yes, but I do believe that's the twins at the door for Legolas and
I" Melpomaen said at the knock on the door, pulling away from his
husband so he could stand. "Are you sure you won't join us?"
"Thank you brother, but no. Saran and I have promised Adar's that
we'd finally have that rematch of Bridge" Mirilas replied staying
where he was, he was too comfortable cuddling with his wife.
"Well you don't know what you're missing." Legolas voice trailed off
as he and Melpomaen greeted the twins and closed the door behind
them.
"Late night, deep sea fishing" Erestor said wrinkling his nose,
causing Glorfindel to kiss it in affection. "Somehow I don't think
we're missing much"
The room resounded with laughter; loud enough to be heard by the
four elves walking together down the path.

In the meantime.
A secluded talan high above the trees:
Ecthelion stood at the window watching the stars shine down upon the
fields and trees below. There were very few talan's in Valinor but
he had found one to please his husband. Married not for long this
was the first time they had had the opportunity to take a belated
honeymoon.
He never thought he'd have this in his life again after.. well after
losing love the first time. But now he was with the one he knew he
had been destined for all along. The one that made his heart race,
his hands sweaty; his groin tighten.
Warms arms encircled his waist and hot breathe caressed his
ear. "Thank you beloved, for finding this place, it is truly
spectacular. I love you so much"
Ecthelion turned in the embrace, gazing at the face he adored above
all others. "And I love you Joren, now and always"
Joren buried his face in Ecthelion's neck and held tight to his
beloved. It was only a few years past his majority but he had known
what he'd wanted for several years before it. His heart had decided
he wanted Ecthelion and now he had him.
Over the years Ecthelion had become such a good friend it was a
surprise to him when we realised that he wanted more from the lonely
elf. He wanted to be held, kiss, loved. Joren was grateful that he
had overheard his parents talking all those years ago; when they had
decided to give Ecthelion their advanced blessing, because at least
he had known his feelings weren't in vain.
Then on the evening of his majority he had made his feelings known
to Ecthelion; heart racing wildly at the thought that the older elf
might not wish to act on his feelings. It was easy to wink at
someone when you didn't let yourself linger on the fear. But his
fear had been in vain and when they had kissed for the first time
Joren had clutched his beloved tightly as his legs had given out.
Dismissing his memories in favour of the real thing in front of him
Joren; feeling cheeky, tilted his head and nuzzled into the warm
flesh of his husbands neck; showering it with butterfly kisses and
little licks. He smiled against the skin when he felt Ecthelion's
breathe hitch.
"Little bugger" Ecthelion whispered whilst moving his head so Joren
had easier access.
Joren stayed silent; simply attacking Ecthelion's neck harder,
eventually suckling on the same area long enough that his husband
would bear a mark of his ownership for several days. If anyone even
so much as looked at Ecthelion the wrong way Joren bristled,
something the elder elf found amusing and utterly adorable.
When Joren broke away and looked at he found his lips captured in a
heated kiss. He whimpered as his mouth was pillaged. He softly
moaned when he felt his sleeping jacket untied and pushed off his
shoulders. Joren's hands clutched into the soft material of
Ecthelion's tunic as warm hands caressed his skin. Remembering
everything his husband had shown him; had taught him, made Joren
harden in seconds.
Ecthelion's pulled back to look into glazed blue eyes, and smiling
picked his husband up; depositing him a moment later on the soft
bed. He quickly rid himself of his clothes before removing Joren's
sleeping pants. Smiling at the younger elf as Joren reached out;
silently begging him to join him, he lay down beside his husband and
kissed him again.
Slipping a hand beneath the pillow, Ecthelion brought forth the
bottle of oil they had been using the past few days. Joren had taken
him last night; now it was his turn to claim his beloved. Breaking
the kiss the two elves smiled sweetly at each other; as Ecthelion
fumbled with the stopper before succeeding in opening the bottle.
Joren closed his eyes as the scent of jasmine permeated the air
around them.
Joren sighed as he was gently prepared and only when Ecthelion
touched that place inside him did he open his eyes. Crying out he
looked straight up into dark blue eyes, heavy with love and lust.
Ecthelion felt his heart swell at the expressions crossing his
lovers face. Upon hearing the familiar whimpers falling from Joren's
lips he spread the oil over his erection and moving to lay over the
younger elf; tenderly pressed into him.
Whilst the light in the room grew low, the couple on the bed made
love slowly; taking in every movement, every sound and every feeling
the act invoked. As Ecthelion thrust deeply into Joren's body, they
both found completion; calling out each others name.
When the candles died out and the moon shone through the window, it
found Ecthelion holding Joren in his arms, his husbands head on his
chest. Contentment seemed to permeate the room as the two elves felt
each other emotions through the bond they shared.
"Mine" Joren said hearing his husbands heart beat beneath his head.
Ecthelion smiled and pressed a kiss to the top of Joren's head. "All
yours"
