Gildor rode through the gates of Gondolin, being one of a very few who knew the secret location of the city; he was privilege to be so trusted by King Turgon. Finally making his way to the city proper, he dismounted and leaned over a large fountain to splash water over his head. Hearing a giggle, he looked up to see the most enchanting sight, a young ellon about 30 years old smiling at him.
"Hello, pen neth," he said as water dripped from his chin.
"Hello," the young one said shyly. "Did you get your face dirty too?"
Gildor grinned as he noticed the young blonds' face smudged with dirt. "I have been travelling a long time and I am quite dirty. I see you have been travelling too." He motioned to the little one's cheek.
"Oh no, I haven't gone anywhere. I was playing in nana's garden. She wasn't happy with me and sent me here to wash up." Gildor smiled as the little blond began washing his face.
"I am Gildor; what is your name pen neth?"
The now clean faced young one looked up and gave Gildor a blinding smile. "My name is Glorfindel, from the House of the Golden Flower. Well met, Gildor. Well, I must go now. Dinner is almost ready." Glorfindel turned, but then turned back. "Would you like to have dinner with my family, Gildor?"
He considered the invitation for a moment. He knew Turgon was expecting him, so when a page walked past, Gildor grabbed him and gave him word to tell the king he was delayed and would see him after the dinner hour.
"I would love to, Glorfindel, lead the way." Gildor smiled when Glorfindel offered his hand. Taking the smaller hand in his, Gildor let himself be led all the while thinking that Glorfindel was certainly going to break a few hearts when he got older.

Part 2:
Over the next two years, Gildor spent at least one night a week having dinner with Glorfindel and his parents. He had enjoyed talking with the Lord of the House of the Golden Flower, Berenoll, and his wife, Lady Ninglorel. They in turn were thoroughly taken with Lord Gildor, both having heard stories about the elf.
"Thank you, Lady Ninglorel, for another wonderful dinner," Gildor said as he rose from his chair.
"You are most welcome, Gildor, but if you continue to use my formal name, I will make you wash the dishes." She laughed, as the house elves began clearing the table.
"How long will you be gone, Gildor?" Berenoll asked, causing Glorfindel to sit up and pay attention.
The elfling hung on every word his friend said when they were together. He did not know that Gildor was leaving soon. The older ellon had not had the heart to tell him.
"You are leaving?" Glorfindel asked with his eyes filled with surprise.
Gildor kneeled down. "Why don't you and I go for a walk, pen-neth?" He stood and hugged Ninglorel and Berenoll. "I do not know yet," he whispered in the lord's ear.
Gildor took Glorfindel's hand, whom had become very quiet, and they walked out to the fountain where they had first met. "I am sorry I had not told you I was leaving, Glorfindel. I am leaving the day after tomorrow, and I do not know how long I will be gone." Seeing the tears welling up in his eyes, Gildor lifted Glorfindel and put him on his lap. "I will miss you, mellon neth."
Glorfindel sniffled. "I will miss you too, Gildor. Do you promise to come back?"
"I do. I will come back, but I am not sure when. Hopefully I will be back by the time you reach your majority." Gildor tilted the little one's chin, hoping to see him smile.
"But that is a long time away," Glorfindel pleaded.
"It will be here before you know it, and you will be very busy with your lessons and then your training." Gildor rocked the sad one a little to comfort him. Glorfindel would be too big to do this with when he saw him again. That fact made Gildor sad. Gone would be the innocent eyes and carefree spirit. "I want you to have this, Glorfindel," Gildor said as he removed a hooped earring and placed it in his friend's hand.
Smiling, Glorfindel hugged Gildor tight. "Thank you; I will keep it always. Maybe when you return, you can pierce my ear and I can wear it just like you."
"I think we need to ask your parents first, pen-neth," Gildor laughed and walked his young friend back to his house.
Early on the morning of his departure, Gildor arrived at the House of the Golden Flower. A house elf ushered him inside and to Glorfindel's room. He knelt by the bed and gently shook the elfling awake.
"Glorfindel, wake up. I have a surprise for you." The young one blinked hearing his friend's voice.
"Are you leaving?" he said sadly.
"Yes, pen-neth, but I have a problem."
"What is it?"
"I found this tiny creature sleeping in the stable. I am afraid the horses might step on it, so I was hoping you would take care of him for me." Gildor placed the tiny kitten on his bed causing Glorfindel to giggle.
The kitten smelled the bedding and stepped awkwardly to Glorfindel. It tensed when it was picked up and put on the elfling's chest, but soon made itself comfortable and was purring loudly as it fell asleep. Gildor chuckled. "I knew I brought him to the right place. Take care of him for me, pen-neth.
"I will, Gildor, I promise. Be safe. I will miss you." He sniffed.
"I will miss you too. I love you, Glorfindel," he said as he kissed the young one's head and turned to leave.
Just as he closed the door, he heard Glorfindel say quietly, "I love you too, Gildor." He smiled as he walked out of the house.
The elfling yawned and placed a hand on the kitten's back, petting it lightly. "I like you too, Gypsy."

Part 3:
30 years later…
Gildor made his way past the first gates of Gondolin, waving at the guards who knew him well and welcomed him back. As he came to the gate that would lead him to the city, a tall guard stepped out to stop him.
"Halt! You may go no further, stranger."
"I am no stranger here," Gildor said as he looked at the guard. His eyes did not make it to the face as his gaze began at the feet of the guard and slowly made their way up the long muscular legs, narrow hips and waist, and further up the broad chest. Gildor licked his lips. Long golden hair hung past broad shoulders and when he finally looked at the guards face, he saw the glittering blue eyes and bright smile he had missed so much.
Glorfindel found it difficult to contain hislaughter as he watched Gildor looking at him hungrily. "See something you like, stranger?" He smirked.
Gildor's eyes went wide and then he smiled brightly. "Glorfindel? Pen neth is it really you?" He asked as he stepped closer.
Glorfindel chuckled and then hugged Gildor. "Yes, meldir, it is. Have I changed so much that you do not recognize me?"
"You have grown. The last time I saw you, you could sit on my lap."
Glorfindel grinned wickedly and leaned to whisper in his friend's ear. "I can still sit on your lap, Gildor." He laughed at Gildor's surprised expression. "Welcome back, my friend." They hugged again. "I was alerted that you were close, so I came to welcome you. Can you come to our house or must you go straight to the king?"
"I think the king will understand if I make a quick diversion before reporting to him." Gildor could not take his eyes off Glorfindel as they walked. The small elfling that he met at the fountain decades earlier had certainly grown into a fine ellon. "I am sorry I was not able to return for your majority celebration, pen neth."
"I understand," Glorfindel said as he walked through the city to his house. Everyone they past smiled and bid Glorfindel hello. It was obvious he had the respect of all that knew him. "I am a captain in the king's army now, representing my father's house."
"I would expect no less of you. Your father must be very proud."
"He is. I am the youngest to make the rank of captain," The younger one said proudly.
"I am proud of you too."
"Thank you, Gildor."
When they entered Glorfindel's house, a cat ran to her master, meowing loudly and rubbing on his legs. "Hello there, Gypsy," he said picking her up and petting her.
"Is that the same cat I left with you?"
"No, this is the third generation of that cat. I keep one from each litter; the one who looks the most like the original Gypsy and they have the same name. This is Gypsy, the third."
Gildor scratched the cats head he chuckled as the little one swatted at his hand. "Gypsy…I like that name."
After dinner with Glorfindel and his parents, Gildor said his farewells. "I must get to the palace and report to the king before he bands me from Gondolin all together."
"I'll walk you out, Gildor." Glorfindel said good night to his parents and followed his friend out.
They walked to the fountain that seemed to draw them to it when they were together and sat down. "I am glad you are back, Gildor," Glorfindel said, looking at the ground.
"I am too, pen neth. Are you free tomorrow? Perhaps we can spend some more time together. I would love to hear all that has happened to you since I last saw you, and maybe I can entice you to spar with me. You can show me all you have learned." Gildor smiled as he stood to leave.
"Yes, I am free. I don't have duty for three days." Glorfindel stood close to his friend; the heat radiated off both ellyn. "I would love to show you everything I have learned, Gildor." They stared at each other, wondering who would make the first move. Finally, Glorfindel leaned forward, locking lips with Gildor.
The kiss began slowly until Glorfindel parted his lips and Gildor took advantage. He wrapped one arm around his waist and pulled the younger ellon tightly to him, while his other hand fisted the golden hair. Glorfindel moaned as his arms instinctively wrapped around Gildor.
Breathlessly they parted. "You have learned well, pen neth." Gildor grinned as he panted to catch his breath.
Glorfindel licked his lips and brazenly ran his hands down to caress Gildor's arse. "That is not all I have learned, my friend," he said and then kissed Gildor again. "See you tomorrow, meldir." He smiled and walked back to his house, leaving a very stunned and aroused Gildor standing by the fountain.
"Oh, I am in trouble," Gildor said as he turned towards the palace.

Part 4:
Gildor had never been so flustered or distracted in all his years. It took every ounce of concentration he had to keep from being defeated by Glorfindel as they sparred. After meeting with the king, he had a sleepless night, all his thoughts on the kiss he shared with Glorfindel and the promise of something more the younger ellon had whispered to him.
The young captain could see the distraction he was causing in Gildor and took the opportunity to cause some more. He stepped back and held up his hand.
"Hold, Gildor, just a moment." He walked to the fence, took of his shirt, knowing Gildor would be watching and lifted the water flask. He drank deeply from it, allowing some of the water to spill from his mouth and travel down his chest and abdomen.
Without realizing it, Gildor had begun to walk towards Glorfindel, watching as the young one drank. He licked his lips as the water dropped of the guards chin, running down his neck and chest to the waist band of his leggings.
Glorfindel had his eyes closed but could hear Gildor's breaths as he stood in front of him. Lowering the flask, he looked at the other and smiled. "Do you thirst, Gildor?" He just nodded. "Would you like some of this?" The younger elf held out the flask, but then spread his arms wide, as if offering something other than the water. Gildor nodded again and the golden ellon poured some water on his chest. The elder waited half a heart beat before leaning forward and licking the water as it flowed down Glorfindel's chest. He continued until he licked up to his chin, and then grabbed a handful of hair and crashed their lips together.
They grabbed each other, fighting again for dominance. Breathlessly they parted, roughly pushing away. Starring, daring the other to move, moments past that seemed to be an eternity. With a smirk, Gildor turned, picked up his sword, and walked away leaving Glorfindel flustered and aroused this time.
Just as the gypsy elf was about to turn a corner and be out of sight, Glorfindel took off running, forgetting all about his shirt that was on the ground, now covered by a dropped water flask that was emptying its contents.
Gildor quickly stepped between two buildings, knowing, hoping that Glorfindel was following, but he had to take a moment to gather his thoughts or he would have thrown the other to the ground and taken him there in the sparring ring. Luckily they had been alone or there would surely be new gossip flying all over Gondolin.
Just as he had hoped, Gildor heard the footsteps approaching fast, so he reached out and grabbed Glorfindel's arm as he past, pulling him between the buildings and pressing him against the wall. "I hunger too, pen neth. Are you offering more than mere water or should I find another to fill my need?" He knew his question was harsh, but it had been many years and Glorfindel had grown, matured and was no longer the shy, adoring elfling that Gildor remembered when he left Gondolin some thirty years earlier.
Glorfindel's eyes dilated and he gripped the other's hips. "I have all you need to quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger," he said as their mouths came together in a heated kiss.
"I believe you said there was much you had learned, pen neth. I think now would be a good time to show me," Gildor said, as he took Glorfindel's hand, pulling him through the narrow passages between the houses and buildings, winding their way to the main house and Glorfindel's room.
It was late afternoon and most of the citizens had returned to their homes and chambers in preparation of the evening meal, so the two soon to be lovers were able to get to their destination without being seen. Once inside, Gildor stepped up face to face with Glorfindel. "Now, let us see if you have truly been the diligent pupil as you claim to have been." Gildor smiled wickedly, sending jolts of arousal to the other's groin.
Glorfindel shivered as he reached for Gildor and cupped his hard shaft through his leggings. He stroked it through the fabric and smiled as Gildor swayed slightly. He reached out and unlaced the older ellon's lacings, opening the leggings and letting his erection free. He starred at the shafted as it bobbed and pulsed. Licking his lips, Glorfindel dropped to his knees and licked the head, delighted at the hiss of pleasure he received. Repeating the action, he then took it in his mouth fully, smiling as Gildor shivered and moaned. Using all he had learned from giving and receiving pleasure in this way, he soon had the gypsy's knees buckling, so he gripped the older ellon's hips, wrapping his hands around to squeeze his buttocks.
"By the Valar, pen neth, you will undo me."
"I thought that was the idea," Glorfindel said, and then took Gildor deep in his throat causing him to explode his release down his throat. The scent of the older ellon was heady; sweat, musk, and a scent Glorfindel couldn't describe and could only be Gildor.
Gildor tried to pull away as he felt his release coming quickly, but Glorfindel held his hips tight to keep him in place. A loud grunt filled the room as Gildor emptied his seed into the eager mouth. The younger ellon slowed his movements until nothing further came from the slightly softening shaft. Gildor pulled him to standing, and then backed him to the bed.
"You must have been at the top of your class, pen neth. That was amazing," he whispered as he began to pepper Glorfindel's chest with kisses and licks, making his way to the other's groin. Slowly he pulled the leggings off and buried his nose in the younger elf's crotch. "Now let me show you what I can do." He grinned and pressed Glorfindel's knees to his chest. "Has anyone done this to you?"
Glorfindel shouted and bucked as Gildor's hot wet tongue licked across his opening and pressed inside. "Valar! Gildor…oh, my…no…no one…ever…please…more."
Gildor looked up at the wild eyed young elf. "Oh, worry not, pen neth. There is so much more." Gildor ducked his head and pierced Glorfindel again with his tongue, sending the younger elf into a frenzy. "I'll show you things you've never dared to dream of pen neth."

Part 5:
Glorfindel bucked and writhed as Gildor worked his tongue into his hidden opening. The younger elf moaned and pressed down onto Gildor's tongue. The gypsy elf chuckled. "So eager, pen neth."
"Yes, please, Gildor."
"As you wish, young one," Gildor said as he moved up Glorfindel's body and kissed him passionately. He reached for the oil and coated his shaft, and then swiftly buried himself in Glorfindel.
The younger warrior held his breath until the burn eased. "Relax, Glorfindel," Gildor purred.
Slowly, rhythmically, Gildor thrust, filling Glorfindel repeatedly. The younger ellon moaned and gripped Gildor's arms, wrapping his legs around his waist, pulling him closer and bringing him deeper inside. Their eyes never looked away from each other and when Glorfindel's release hit him, his passage clamped down on Gildor almost painfully, causing the gypsy to cry out as he filled Glorfindel with his release.
They lay panting; their limbs tangled, and sweat covering their bodies. "Glorfindel, you were amazing. You have been a very good student."
Glorfindel smiled and turned to face Gildor. "Hannon le, but something tells me there is so much more you can teach me."
Kissing his lover on the lips softly, Gildor grinned. "That there is, pen neth. That there is."
Glorfindel became a much bolder lover under Gildor's tutelage. He even surprised the gypsy elf one time by asking him to share the evening meal, and then presented the meal with himself the platter. The meat and bread were spread along his chest and abdomen and the dessert, strawberries and crème, were in a bowl nestled just below his very hard erection that lay heavily along his hip.
Gildor's surprised look lasted only a moment until his eyes darkened and filled with lust. "Well, well, what have we hear, pen neth?" Gildor's eyes raked down his body." I dare say you look good enough to eat." He smiled, and then dipped his mouth into the bowl of berries. He took a berry, liberally covered in crème, and brought it to Glorfindel's mouth and shared it with him, before taking the younger ellon in a heated kiss.
Glorfindel felt a tear slide down his cheek and he quickly wiped it away. He watched Gildor and Lindir walking down the path away from the house. There was a picnic planned at the river and he was waiting for Erestor to finish with his work so they could join the group. Glorfindel had been reminiscing about his time with Gildor in Gondolin. The older ellon had been such a strong presence in his life. Even not seeing each other for decades did not seem to matter. When they were together again, it was as if time had not passed. He learned so much form the older ellon, and Gildor had been a source of support when his parents decided to sail, leaving Glorfindel as the head of the house.
Gildor's guidance was invaluable, and when Glorfindel voiced his concern about Maeglin, the gypsy elf listened and did not dismiss his worries. Glorfindel never knew that Gildor had been asked to leave Gondolin when his concerns about Maeglin were brought to Turgon's attention. The king was offended and told Gildor to leave. With a heavy heart, the gypsy told Glorfindel that he was leaving on a mission for the king.
Their last night together was loving, and they parted with promises to stay safe and see each other as soon as they could. Only Gildor knew he would never set foot within Gondolin's gates again. "Stay safe, pen neth. Live and love," he said and mounted his horse, riding away without looking back.
After his rebirth, Glorfindel had asked about Gildor, learning he was alive and well and still traveling Middle Earth. He thought of Gildor often until the day he rode into Imladris and saw Erestor for the first time. He had found his soul-mate.
Erestor had called to his husband twice and not received a response, so he walked to the balcony and wrapped his arms around his mate. "Meleth, where are you? I have called your name."
Glorfindel startled slightly at Erestor's touch, but then relaxed in his lover's arms. "I was back in Gondolin for a moment, my love. Just remembering very good times." He turned in Erestor's arms and kissed him deeply. He had told Erestor his story of how he met Gildor and their time together. The raven haired advisor had grinned and said he would have to thank Gildor for teaching Glorfindel so many things about intimacy and love. The blond had been worried his husband would be jealous of the gypsy, but he was pleasantly surprised to find the opposite was true. Gildor and Erestor had been friends before and now they had a new reason to be connected. Their love for Glorfindel.
The couple arrived at the river to find the twins diving off of their father's shoulders, and Lindir and Gildor locked in a heated embrace. "I am glad he is happy. He and Lindir are a good match," Glorfindel said as he watched his former lover.
"I am too, meleth, although he will never be as happy as I am," Erestor said as he kissed his husband softly on the lips and began to remove his clothes for a swim.
"Nor as happy as I am," Glorfindel said as he followed suit and let Erestor lead him into the water. Gildor met Glorfindel's gaze and winked as they held their lovers. But, when he saw the way Gildor looked at Lindir, he thought maybe the gypsy elf was happy and would finally settle down in Imladris.
The End
