Summary: Glorfindel is thankful for his love.
Warnings: FLUFF!!! First time. Not Beta'd!
A/N: This is for my beloved beta, IgnobleBard. Happy Birthday
sweetie! I love you!

It was no accident me finding you
Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew
Now I just can't believe,
You're in my life
Heaven's smilin' down on me
As I look at you tonight

The small glade within Celebrian's rose garden was surrounded by
trees, lit only by Ithil and the thousands of fireflies that winked
happily about their business. Night Blooming Jasmine, Moonflowers
and Angel's Trumpets filled the air with their scent and the ground
was covered by Elves sitting or lounging upon blankets. The
atmosphere happy, but relaxed as was the way of the First Born.

Standing on one side beneath an arching canopy of vines, was Elrond
and Glorfindel. The Lord of Imladris was smiling serenely, and the
reborn warrior's face was filled with nervous anxiety.

The warrior was dressed in his formal uniform, befitting his station
as Captain of the Guard and Seneschal of Imladris. He wore a butter
colored undershirt covered by a sleeveless tunic that was dark
maroon. It was slit up to his hips and fell in belted drapes to his
ankles. The belt itself was of pounded gold plates that overlapped
one another. He wore black, calf high boots and pinned to each
shoulder with the emblem of his House was a cloak of deepest green.
Upon his brow was a simple gold circlet entwined into his simple
warrior's braids.

At his waist was a ceremonial sword, a replica from those used in
ceremonies in Gondolin.

Blue eyes sharpened and focused when a soft murmur started to flow
through the crowd, and those Elves here to witness the ceremony
stood. Another wave of nervousness wound its way through his
insides as his betrothed was escorted into the glade by King
Thranduil, his father. For tonight was the night, all of
Glorfindel's dreams would come true. Tonight was the night that he
would wed his love, Legolas.

Glorfindel had first met the prince at his begetting day party when
he reached his majority, and became instantly besotted by his purity
and love for life. He had promised Thranduil to court him long, and
he did. For it was tradition within the royal family of Mirkwood,
not to wed before the age of five hundred years, so that their
training as warrior's, and in diplomacy could be completed. This
tradition was held by Princes and Princesses alike.

And then the War of the Ring had happened and Legolas had been sent
as one of the Nine Walkers. Glorfindel had worried the whole time,
trying to keep his mind occupied by fighting himself, along the
borders of his home. Protecting those he was sworn to keep safe.

His eyes met Legolas' across the glade and he smiled softly at the
smaller elf. The lighter and smaller frame of the archer was
encased in an under robe of light green, belted at the waist with a
thin golden chain. His outer robe was left hanging open to show
this off, and was of the purest white Glorfindel had ever seen.
Trimming it, was gold stitching in the shape of vines and oak
leaves.

Upon his head was a circlet of gold filigree, with a tear shaped
Moonstone hanging between his arched brows. His hair was left
unbound, as was also tradition in Mirkwood, to show he remained
untouched. At this, Glorfindel felt pride sweep through him, for he
had told Legolas that while he was on the quest, if he needed to
seek a warrior's comfort, he would completely understand. Legolas
had made, and kept his vow, of remaining chaste for him until they
were married.

Legolas' skin seemed to glow with an ethereal light under Ithil, and
Glorfindel watched as his intended was honored by those in
attendance, by being showered with flower petals as he walked upon
his father's arm. Closer and closer. Upon his face was a smile
that made Glorfindel's heart ache with the beauty of it.

Glorfindel's heart beat more rapidly as he watched Thranduil bend
and place a kiss upon Legolas' cheek, and then place the Prince's
hands within his own. Legolas looked up at him, his green eyes
shining brilliantly, and Glorfindel was made breathless.

"So beautiful." He whispered softly, smiling when Legolas blushed.

"As are you." Was murmured back to him.

It took all his willpower not to pull Legolas into his arms and
claim his full lips right then and there. To just pick him up and
carry him off. Legolas' eyes started to sparkle mischieviously as
he seemed to read Glorfindel's thoughts. A clearing throat brought
them back to the present.

"Shall we start?" Elrond asked softly, a smirk on his face.

Both Elves flushed and nodded, and turned their bodies partially
towards Elrond, their hands still clasped tightly together. It took
all of Glorfindel's willpower not to just keep staring at his soon-
to-be husband. Elrond nodded and the ceremony began.

"Here in the sight of the Valar and these witnesses, we celebrate
the bonding of Legolas Thranduilion to Glorfindel of Gondolin and
Imladris. Thranduil, do you agree to this bonding?"

The two about to be wedded, could hear the pride...and tears, in
Thranduil's voice as he answered, "Aye, I am happy and honored to
give my son over to this bonding. May the Valar bless it."

Elrond nodded and then looked at Legolas. "Will you now then say
your vows?"

Legolas' blush made him even more beautiful in Glorfindel's eyes.
They turned to face each other fully once more, their hands clasped
tightly between them. His voice was soft, but pure as he spoke.

"Glorfindel, where there has been cold, you have brought warmth;
where there was darkness, you have brought light. I enter this
bonding with you, knowing that the true magick of love is not to
avoid changes, but to follow the path together, hand in hand.
Whatever lies ahead, good or bad, we will face together. Today, I
take my place as your husband. May our days be long, and may they
be seasoned with faith, love, understanding and respect, forever.
Today is the beginning of the rest of our lives. I choose to spend
today, and all of my tomorrow's, with you."

Legolas then slid a golden band upon the right forefinger of
Glorfindel's hand.

Glorfindel fought his urge to pull Legolas into his arms right then
and there and kiss him senseless. He would have plenty of time
later and for the rest of their lives to do that. He smiled softly
instead and squeezed his beloved's fingers gently.

Elrond spoke softly, "Glorfindel, will you now speak your vows?"

Glorfindel nodded and said softly, "It would be my honor." He took
a deep breath, the nervousness he was filling suddenly blowing away
on the winds of their love.

I tip my hand(hat), to the keeper of the stars
S(h)e sure knew what S(h)e was doin'
When S(h)e joined these two hearts
I hold everything, when I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars

"Legolas, you are the Valar's precious gift to me; my springtime, my
hope and my joy. You are everything that is good and pure and true,
and I worship you with my mind, body and soul. How blessed I am to
be able to say that you are mine, to be able to love and cherish
you, for the rest of my days. I vow to always put you first in my
life, always to be there to comfort you in your sorry, and rejoice
with you in your victories. May our hearts and very breath become
one as we unite this day as husbands. I promise to be your true
love, from this day forward, and forevermore."

He reached up with one hand and gently brushed away the single
silver tear that trailed down one of Legolas' cheeks. Then placed a
golden ring upon Legolas' right forefinger. They then turned as one
to face Elrond once more.

"Your words have been spoken and rings exchanged. Now it is time
for you to make this bond in blood."

Thranduil stepped around them to take his place at Elrond's side.
Glorfindel and Legolas watched as the king withdrew a ceremonial
knife from his side. He took first Glorfindel's left hand, making a
slice across the palm. Legolas then offered his right hand to his
father, who quickly made a cut across the palm.

They linked their hands, fingers intertwining, and their eyes locked
as they started to live each others memories. Glorfindel learned
what it was like to grow up a Prince of Mirkwood, and Legolas
learned what it was to slay a balrog, die and be reborn.

Soon the Valar showed themselves and brought their blessings. A
swirling light surrounded the newly bonded couple. It grew brighter
and swirled faster until soon, those witnessing it had to either
turn away, or shade their eyes.

Glorfindel leaned in to kiss Legolas, and it was in that moment,
their souls were torn assunder and sent up into the heavens. They
then twirled one with the other, becoming one before seperating once
more, each bound to it's other half for all eternity.

The light surrounding the newly bonded couple slowly started to
fade, showing all those in witness the two still entwined, their
kiss deep. They waited for the kiss to finish so that Elrond could
announce the ceremony over. And waited...and waited...

Glorfindel did not pull away from Legolas' sweet lips until he felt
a tap on his shoulder. Finally gasping, he broke the kiss with a
blush and looked to see Thranduil with an eyebrow raised, arms
crossed.

"Shall we finish the ceremony and then get on with the party?"

But all could see it was a feined sterness, by the look of pride in
his tear filled eyes.

Glorfindel sheepishly grinned as Legolas buried his face into his
new husband's chest. The Elves in witness chuckling and nodding
their heads. Yes, this was definately a match made by the Valar.
All could see it within the eyes of the two bonded when they looked
at each other.

Elrond with a grin said, "These two have been bound and blessed in
the eyes of the Valar. May no other try to tear this bond assunder."

A great cheer went up from the Elves, and the newly bonded couple
found themselves first wrapped in Thranduil and Elrond's
congratulatory arms, before being swept off by the rest for dining,
drinking and dancing.

The two were ever at each other's side, stealing kisses when
possible and dancing the first dance with one another before sharing
dances with what seemed to be every Elf in Elvendom. They suffered
through embarassing stories told by Thranduil and Elrond, and a
multitude of toasts.

After several hours of this, Glorfindel finally said
gruffly, "Enough!"

Legolas looked at him questioningly, as did those within hearing
distance. Soon the crux of the matter made itself known. With an
indignant squawk, Legolas found himself picked up and thrown over
Glorfindel's broad shoulder. Shouts of encouragement and hoots of
laughter rang through the glade as Legolas demanded to be put down,
and Glorfindel refused to do so.

Legolas put up a token resistance, but deep within him his heart was
beating wildly. He had wished to further their relationship, but
Glorfindel had refused to do so. They had until now only shared
heated kisses and a bit of passionate touching, but the larger
warrior had always stopped their play before it went too far. He
had said he would not dishonor him or King Thranduil by taking him,
as much as he desired to, before their wedding night. Now the time
had come and Legolas felt nervous desire building deep within his
belly.

He blushed as Glorfindel set him down outside the door of their
rooms, smiling shyly at those who had followed them in to tease them
and make suggestions. Glorfindel opened the door, and amid more
cheers, picked his young husband up in his arms, carrying him across
the threshold, using his booted foot to shut the door in the many
laughing faces.

As it grew quiet outside their door, Glorfindel gently set Legolas
down, capturing the younger Elf's lips with his in a heated kiss.
Legolas moaned and leaned into his husband's body, his arms snaking
around Glorfindel's broad shoulders and twining in his golden hair.

"I have wanted this for so long," he whispered.

Glorfindel chuckled softly, "As have I little one, as have I."

Legolas laughed and pulled away with a playful pout, "But I
am not the one who kept saying no." He smiled beautifully and
Glorfindel watched him go to the table where a carafe of wine and
two silver chalices waited.

Glorfindel took the offered drink and with a soft smile, offered his
up in a toast. "May we share a joy that grows deeper, a friendship
that grows closer, and a bond that grows richer through the years.
Here's to us, Legolas."

Legolas raised his chalice up and clinked it together with
Glorfindels, his eyes bright and his smile brighter. "To us, my
love. Forever," he whispered.

After they both drank, Glorfindel took Legolas' chalice from him and
lay both of them down upon the table. Legolas watched with wordless
wonder as his husband prowled closer to him, his green eyes
deepening with desire in response to Glorfindel's blue eyes
glittering.

Despite having tried to entice Glorfindel hundreds of times through
the years to take things further, Legolas felt a nervous blush touch
his cheeks. He lowered his eyes, feeling shy now that the time was
truly here. He felt Glorfindel's fingers gently trace over his
cheek.

Green eyes lifted to meet blue and Glorfindel smiled softly down at
him. "After five hundred years, and many trials, we are finally
here my love."

"Aye, and I have never been more happy than I am right now."
Legolas answered in a voice just as soft.

Legolas was once more pulled safely into the circle of Glorfindel's
arms, his own going up to wrap around the broad shoulders of his
husband. He parted his lips as Glorfindel leaned down and kissed
him.

It was not a fiery kiss like they had shared earlier, and the many
they had shared through the years, but one of soft seduction. One
to stoke the fire with a slow burn, enticing it to flare higher and
hotter.
Soft moonlight on your face, oh how you shine
It takes my breath away, just to look into your eyes
I know I don't deserve, a treasure like you
There really are no words, to show my gratitude

Legolas' outer robe was slowly removed and released, to pool in a
puddle at his feet. The toggles of his under robe were slowly
undone, and heated kisses placed upon the smooth exposed skin.
Glorfindel drank in the soft moan of his new husband, groaning
himself as he felt Legolas melt in his arms.

The larger warrior's mouth watered as a rosy nipple was exposed, and
a cry rent the air as he teased it with tongue and then teeth. His
hair was grasped tightly, almost painfully and he glanced up to see
Legolas' head thrown back in ecstasy. It went straight to his
already hardened arousal, causing it to leak within his leggings.

Gently Glorfindel picked Legolas up in his arms, carrying him to the
bed that had been strewn with rose petals and lay him down. He
continued where he left off, ravishing his husband's nipples,
holding Legolas still as he writhed in wanton abandon beneath him.

"Please, Glorfindel." Legolas begged softly.

It took all of Glorfindel's willpower not to just give into Legolas'
soft plea and take him then and there.

"Soon my love. I wish to taste you first."

Legolas whimpered.

Glorfindel maneuvered Legolas, removing his under robe and tossing
it to the floor. His mouth trailed from his young husband's
nipples, down his torso and across his quivering belly. He lovingly
dipped his tongue into Legolas' navel, causing the young Elf to arch
with a cry. Lithe archer's fingers tightened in his hair, grasping
tightly.

"I burn!" Legolas cried out.

"And you shall flame higher, burn hotter before I am through."
Glorfindel murmured.

Legolas continued to writhe beneath him, a light sheen of sweat
forming upon his lean archer's body. Glorfindel lifted his head to
look upon him. He was glorious!

Using his teeth, Glorfindel untied the ties to Legolas' leggings,
his hands coming up to pull them down over hips that were already
starting to thrust into the air. He pulled them and his boots
off. Legolas' straining arousal, sprang free, the tip already
dripping.

A loud cry rent the air when Glorfindel tasted his husband for the
first time ever. The large warrior almost spilled himself from the
sweet taste of Legolas alone. He moaned as he rolled the flavor of
his husband on his tongue, savoring the taste of him as he would a
sweet and heady wine.

"Glorfindel," Legolas panted, "please!" Fingers twined tighter in
his hair as Legolas sobbed. "I need...want...need..."

Glorfindel grinned wickedly. "I know exactly what you need my
love." He murmured. He licked from the base of Legolas' arousal to
the tip and then sucked him between his lips. Relaxing his throat,
he took him deep.

"Oh sweet Eru!" Legolas cried as his back bowed, head and hips the
only thing now touching the bed. He would not last long and
Glorfindel sucked harder, encouraging him to spill.

A staccato wail filled their chambers as his husband's seed suddenly
spilled down his throat. Glorfindel swallowed, determined to milk
every drop from Legolas. He gently lapped at his husband, cleaning
him.

As Legolas lay in a languid stupor, Glorfindel got up and quickly
divested himself of his own clothing, groaning as he could not
resist grasping his cock and taking a few quick strokes. Emerald
green eyes opened and Legolas smiled softly. Glorfindel joined him
back on the bed, laying half over his temporarily sated body and
kissed him deeply. Hotly. The younger Elf moaned at tasting
himself for the first time upon his husband's lips.

"That was..." Legolas started to say.

Glorfindel finished, "...only the beginning."

Once more Legolas moaned, his cock already hardening again.
Glorfindel kissed him again, and Legolas grasped tightly to him.

"Show me more."

"I shall my beautiful husband, I shall."

Glorfindel slowly worked Legolas into a frenzy again, working his
way down his body once more. He passed by Legolas' straining cock
this time, making his way lower. He spread his husband's legs
further and licked his lips as he gazed upon the virgin pink opening
revealed to him. Legolas bucked up with a cry when he touched his
tongue to the quivering hole. He lashed at it gently, teasing it
mercilessly.

"Glorfindel, please!"

Glorfindel grinned at hearing the demand and slowly pushed his
tongue forward, breaching the untouched entrance. He had to
forcibly hold Legolas' hips down as the young Elf let out a keening
cry.

He used his tongue in the way he would be using his cock soon.
Preparing his lover for what was to come. He uncorked the phial of
oil he had grabbed earlier and tipped it, not caring about the oil
spilled upon the sheets. He slowly drew his tongue back and traced
the slightly prepared opening with his finger.

Very slowly he breached the guardian ring, pausing when Legolas
tensed and hissed. He watched his lover's face closely and slowly
pushed in further. Legolas panted harshly, as he forced himself to
relax.

When Glorfindel's finger was slowly moving freely in and out of his
lover, he crooked it, searching. He knew he had found his spot when
Legolas arched up with a sharp yelp.

"What...what...?" Stars had burst behind his closed eyelids. He
wanted more!

Glorfindel grinned, "That my love is what makes this so beautiful.
What makes it feel so good."

"Do...do it...again."

Glorfindel complied with a grin, his eyes glittering as he watched
his husband slowly come undone.

Legolas winced as a second finger was introduced and he breathed
deep, trying to relax once again. There was a small burn and he
felt Glorfindel pause, waiting.

"Just do it Glorfindel, get it over with." He said through gritted
teeth, his fingers twisting in the sheets on the bed.

"Nay, I will not harm you Legolas. Just breathe deep and relax."

Legolas simply nodded and tried to do as Glorfindel said.

Once he was relaxed enough to take both fingers, Glorfindel once
again teased that spot deep within him. He continued doing so,
slowly stretching his lover, until Legolas was pushing back, trying
to take him deeper. That was when he added the third finger.

This time Legolas whimpered as he fought to relax and it brought
tears to Glorfindel's eyes. "I am so sorry, my love. It will get
better, I swear it."

Legolas simply nodded. "I trust you, I...believe you."

After several minutes, Glorfindel's fingers were sliding easily,
Legolas relaxing and pushing back as he constantly teased that spot
deep within, making him cry out with a need he did not understand.
Legolas was now prepared as much as he could possibly be.

Glorfindel groaned as he slicked himself up, having to pause and
grasp the base of his arousal to keep himself from spilling.
Legolas was writhing upon the bed once more, begging him with words
and cries for more.

He leaned in to kiss Legolas deeply, trying to distract him as he
lined himself up. He started to slowly push, pausing when Legolas
tensed up beneath him. He reached between them, stroking his
husband and helping him to relax once more. The warrior paused
each time he felt Legolas tense, and pushed forward slowly when he
relaxed. By the time he was fully seated, he was covered in sweat
and panting harshly. His whole body trembled with the burning need
he felt deep within him.

He stayed himself, kissing Legolas to distract and relax him. He
almost wept with joy when he felt Legolas move under him, murmuring
for him to move. He slowly pulled back and just as slowly thrust
forward again, aiming for Legolas' special spot and causing the
smaller Elf to cry out sharply.

"More...more please." Legolas panted and pleaded. His hips started
to move harder, trying to take Glorfindel in deeper. With a soft
cry of his own, Glorfindel did as he asked.

I tip my hand(hat), to the keeper of the stars
S(h)e sure knew what S(h)e was doin'
When S(h)e joined these two hearts
I hold everything, when I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars

His thrust came a bit harder...a bit faster...a bit deeper, and once
again he watched as his young husband came undone. Watched as he
became a wanton in his arms. Legs wrapped tighter around his waist,
feet locking at his back to hold him trapped, and hands grasped at
his back, fingernails digging into his skin to encourage more
movement.

Soon they were moving together as if they had been making love for
years, their cries a concerto of ecstasy that filled the room.
Glorfindel reached between them once more and started to stroke
Legolas, causing the archer to bow his back once more with a scream
as he spilled over Glorfindel's hand.

The larger warrior released a primal yell as his seed was milked
from him, spilling deep into his husband in great spurts.

The bond snapped fully into place, causing their souls to sail among
the stars. Their lights shining brightly together, twining and
dancing as they slowly came back down.

Glorfindel collapsed, his lungs heaving as heavily as Legolas' as
they fought to breathe once more. When he softened and slipped out,
they both moaned at the loss. He rolled to his side, pulling
Legolas with him, stroking his hair and staring deep into his
satiated and now sleepy eyes.

"Sleep, my love." He whispered softly.

He watched as Legolas' eyes started to slowly glaze over and smiled
when he heard him softly whisper, "I love you, Glorfindel."

"And I love you, little one." He softly whispered back.

The revelries outside continued as the two newly bonded husbands
found sleep within each other's arms.

It was no accident, me finding you
Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew

The End
