THE NIGHT OF DOOM AND LOVE
It was late, and Glorfindel was walking slowly to his chambers when he suddenly
froze. A desperate cry echoed through the night-shrouded corridor. He paused, tilted
his head in order to discern from whence came the strangled sound. He quickly picked
up his steps, realizing that whoever it was surely needed help.
The sounds led him to a heavy oak door and he listened again to make sure he'd
heard right. Aye, indeed he had, for the cries were now whimpers. Glorfindel was not
unknowing of the sounds elven lovers made in passion, but what seemed to lay
beyond the door was far from loving. Someone was being hurt, and that went against
everything he'd been taught.
Elves simply did not hurt other elves. That sort of behavior was for the world of men.
Quietly, he tried the door and found it to be unlocked. Stealthily he crept in. What he
saw in front of his very eyes shocked him.
In the room was large bed, and in the middle were two elves obviously in some sort of
struggle. It was more than apparent from the way the poor elf did his best to avert his
head from the forceful kiss the other was trying to bestow, this wasn't an issue of free
will.
Glorfindel was absolutely furious. This was the sort of behavior he expected from men
or from the other lesser races. Elves simply did not rape or force each other in this
way. For elves, sex and sensuality were sacred and beautiful things to be shared with
open minds and joyous hearts. Yes, there were those of his kin who engaged in
rougher types of love-play, but even then, it was consensual even when it seemed
otherwise.
The would-be rapist paid him no attention, too wrapped up in his own prize when
Glorfindel forcefully pulled him away. Another shock showed on his face as he
recognized the assailant.
"Maeglin, what be you about here," Glorfindel demanded harshly. "What in the name
of the Valar has brought you so low as to act this way?"
"Glorfindel," Maeglin spat, eyes blazing.
"The golden boy and our dear King's cherished pet! Why don't you just disappear and
leave this pretty little fellow to me? In spite of your chivalrous ways he isn't worth
saving. Everyone knows his mother is a common harlot, and this boy is just like his
mother."
Glorfindel gazed at the shivering elf who was sobbing and quivering violently.
Turning cold eyes on to Maeglin again, Glorfindel replied angrily,
"What a monster you are, Maeglin. Does it make you feel any stronger forcing a mere
elfling to satisfy your needs? Look at him! He is but a child!"
This time it was Maeglin who spat as he removed himself from the bed and began to
dress.
"Once again, Glorfindel the Great sticks his nose where it is the least wanted."
Glorfindel ignored the other elf's taunts. Instead he knelt by the bed, a warm hand
gently resting on the shoulder of the sobbing elfling.
"You are safe now, pen dithen. I won't let him hurt you anymore."
The elfling raised his head, and Glorfindel's heart nearly stopped. He had never seen
so beautiful a creature as this elfling. He really was true beauty, with raven silky
locks, pale skin and dark, shining eyes.
"Did he hurt you," Glorfindel asked, concerned. His worry eased a little when he saw
that elfling's clothes had barely been touched. The tunic had been ripped but that
was all.
"Nay……you stopped him before anything happened. But I was so scared……he hit
me",
the elfling sobbed, and Glorfindel felt his anger rising. How could anyone hurt this
utterly adorable creature?
"Could you……could you take me from here please……" the elfling whispered shakily,
a
pleading gaze in his eyes.
Glorfindel nodded as he smiled gently.
"Of course. I will escort you to your home and remain until you feel safe." With that,
Glorfindel took him in his arms and helped him up. When he turned around again, he
realized that Maeglin was gone.
*"Go……go you little coward! I'm going to ensure you will be punished for this!"*
As the two elves began their slow journey through the corridors, Glorfindel wondered
just what had gotten into Maeglin. Then again, it wasn't as if either elf had ever been
friends. Truth to tell, Maeglin neither liked him nor made any secret of that fact. Still,
this……this was something horrible. He knew that if Maeglin had indeed succeeded in
doing harm to the elfling, it would have been disastrous all around.
What kind of elf could do something like this? More importantly……why?
It was when he looked down at the little one he practically carried in his arms that he
felt he knew the answer and it disturbed him.
He walked quickly, following the elfling's half-whispered directions and in no time he
was at their destination.
It was a small place, yet homely, with a wooden table and chairs, a stand for washing
and a low, carved bed. Glorfindel made himself useful, lighting a fire in the hearth
and fetching water. Finally when he was certain all was as well as it could be, he
turned to leave.
A quiet whisper made him stop.
"Could you stay, please……a little while……I -- I don't want to be alone."
Glorfindel simply couldn't resist. By now he knew that he wouldn't deny the adorable
little elfling anything it was in his power to give and he was mightily confused about
his feelings. He'd never felt anything like this before. One gaze into those beautiful
dark eyes made him shiver. It was as if the elfling's very soul shone like the moon
upon water.
He tried to sit in a chair beside the bed, but the little one definitely had other
thoughts.
"I'm so scared and cold. Could you hold me? Please?"
Glorfindel hesitated, but realized he could do nothing but accept. He climbed beside
the elfling and took him in his arms. He felt his pulse racing, but deep inside he felt
utter peace. He didn't know why, but this felt somehow……right.
"Man eneth lín (*What is your name*), pen dithen", Glorfindel whispered, trying to
regain some control of his senses.
"Estannen (*I am called*) Erestor", the elfling answered shyly.
"Well, Erestor, I do not know how you fell into Maeglin's clutches, but from now on you
need to be much more careful. And Maeglin isn't only one who could hurt you if got
chance," Glorfindel's tone was serious. He didn't want to scare Erestor, but for his
sake, this conversation was necessary. Erestor was so heartbreakingly beautiful that
many desired him now and in future perhaps even more.
"I know. I just……wanted to go out……to look at the stars and the beautiful night."
Erestor
averted his gaze, ashamed.
"Erestor, look at me," Glorfindel demanded gently.
Erestor did, and saw the most incredible azure eyes which were both serious yet
warm, and looking into them Erestor felt something strange.
It was as if this elf was touching him deep inside, only by his mere gaze, and it felt so
amazing. There was nothing frightening about it at all.
"I'm not blaming you. There is certainly nothing wrong with wanting to see the stars,
but you must understand that it is extremely dangerous to wander at corridors this
time at night. And one more thing. You have to learn to defend yourself. Promise me
that you will be much more careful from now on." He stroked Erestor's hair while
talking, to soften his words. He realized that Erestor was special, in many ways.
Glorfindel was sure that most Elves saw only Erestor's stunning beauty, and didn't
notice the very rare spirit behind his appearance.
But Glorfindel saw. And he knew that someday this little elfling would be very special.
"I promise," the elfling whispered, eyes shining bright in the semidarkness.
"I know your words are meant well and I will be careful. I will learn to fight. And
thank you for saving me." Erestor reached forward and shyly brushed his lips against
his rescuer's cheek. Glorfindel flinched at first, but then smiled.
"Very well then, I suggest you try to sleep now. I will not leave you, unless you want
me to." Erestor's kiss burned his cheek, and he tried desperately to understand just
why he felt as if he were melting from such a simple kiss.
Just a little kiss given by elfling.
"I do want you to stay. I feel so safe in your arms."
"You are safe. Sleep now, pen dithen."
"You have not given me your name, my lord," Erestor mumbled, already half asleep.
"Estannen Glorfindel."
Glorfindel……and with his rescuer's name poised upon his lips, Erestor fell into a deep
relaxed sleep, safe and happy in the Elf's warm and strong embrace.
Glorfindel knew that he wouldn't sleep this night. He was sure that as long as he lived,
he would remember this beautiful night rest of his life.
He couldn't guess how short that life would be.
When Glorfindel saw first rays of Anar, he saw something else too.
The days of his beloved Gondolin were coming to an end. Taking the still sleeping
Erestor with him, he left the elfling in the safe hands of Idril's household, being the
only chance he could give Erestor to escape the doomed city.
When he saw his friend's backs drawing away from him, he turned. Glorfindel didn't
hesitate to meet his own destiny, secure in his beloved's escape.
Fire and Shadow broke him, sending him to Mandos' halls.
Glorfindel's last conscious thought was Erestor's name.
Chapter 2
"Glorfindel of Gondolin."
"Aye, my lord?"
"You are bidden to return, Glorfindel of Gondolin."
"What do you mean? Did I not I come here by Flame and Shadow? I thought my fate
fulfilled."
"It is not. There are two of the Firstborn who still need you."
"Who? Who they are? My King and my family are here with me. Or in Aman, forever
safe and happy."
"One is Elrond the Peredhel, son of Eärendil. You are to serve him and his future
family."
"And the other one?"
"Elrond will tell you."
And so Glorfindel returned, to yet again fulfill his destiny he once thought done. Now
he was to serve his dearest friend's heir and grandson. He thought of that other Elf
whom he was bidden to serve, but could not remember anyone who needed him so
desperately.
To whom was Glorfindel's fate bound?
"You really are Glorfindel of Gondolin, the Balrog-slayer who saved my family?" Elrond
was stunned, but Glorfindel succeeded in convincing him as to the validity of his
identity. Once established, Elrond nodded his head in greeting, then added gravely,
"I admit freely that your appearance was truly unexpected, so I pray that you pardon
my doubts. But it is well and good that you are here. There is someone who is in great
need of you, far so than myself."
Again Glorfindel was beset with curiosity.
"What in the name of the Valar do you mean? There is no one from my own family,
and nearly no one from yours, my lord, if I may speak so boldly."
Elrond merely smiled.
"Do you remember that little elfling whom you saved from Maeglin, and then from the
doomed city?"
Glorfindel's heart almost stopped.
"What! You mean……Erestor! Is he here?"
Elrond nodded.
"Erestor is my servant. But he is a very lonely and troubled soul. He believes that I do
not notice, but I worry about him."
"He was an incredible elfling. Beautiful and with a great spirit. Have you any reason
why he is sorely troubled," Glorfindel asked concerned.
"He is indeed beautiful still, and his spirit is still great," Elrond conceded. "I would
make him my chief counselor for he is wise beyond all reckoning, and yet I cannot."
"Whyever not?"
"Because……he is not considered an adult in the eyes of our kind. He repeatedly
refuses
his majority ritual, and without it……I can do nothing."
That puzzled Glorfindel, who remembered how eager he'd been to prove himself of
age.
"Has he given any reason for his decision?"
Elrond's eyes fixed upon Glorfindel.
"Indeed. He refuses, he says, because the only one he ever allowed to touch him is
dead……and he will not accept any other comfort. He is very beautiful, and desired by
many. But nay, he will have none of them."
"Ai Erestor", Glorfindel groaned inwardly.
" You cannot do this to yourself".
He tried to explain to the other Elf.
"Are you aware of what Maeglin tried to do to him……?"
"Aye," Elrond responded gravely. "He told me that Maeglin tried to rape him, and
would have succeeded, if you had not come to his aid."
"Has anything else happened to him since then……why would Erestor chose to live in
such a way?"
"I can assure you nay! No one dares to touch him now without his permission. Erestor
is extremely proficient with weapons, especially with swords and knives……"
There was at least some comfort in that. The elfling would no longer fall prey to the
lust of others. Glorfindel felt a certain pride in his Erestor's accomplishments.
My Erestor? When did that happen?
In his heart, Glorfindel knew the answer. It was a foolish question, but he had to ask
it. Perhaps……and hope blossomed and faded within him.
"So if Erestor will have no one here, who is the only one who holds his heart?"
Elrond did not answer. He did not have to.
"I see……then I see that I must go to him", Glorfindel said weakly. Could he help
Erestor?
"Indeed you must," Elrond intoned, "But remember this...Erestor's life had been very
lonely. His decision made him mocked by many, and he is suffering. I do so hope you
can ease his pain."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Glorfindel followed Elrond's instructions and found Erestor sitting under a big mallorn
just outside of the city. When Erestor saw Glorfindel striding towards him, he nearly
rose to run away as if seeing a spectre.
He had wanted to be alone with his memories and hopes.
He saw the golden locks dancing in the wind and those beautiful azure eyes he'd
never forgotten, he felt his knees weaken.
"It cannot be! Glorfindel? But I thought you were dead!"
"I was, pen-neth," the Elf answered gravely. "It appears that my work here is not yet
done. I have been summoned back……for you."
Erestor was rendered speechless, his eyes wide with shock.
"This cannot be……I dream, or mine eyes are deceived by some spell."
Glorfindel smiled thinly but with warmth.
"Nae, Erestor, I assure you that I am very much alive……and I am glad to see you are
as
well."
Erestor threw himself into Glorfindel's arms, embraced him as if to reassure himself
that the other Elf was indeed real.
When he felt strong arms twine around his body, and warm lips against his cheek, he
knew. Glorfindel of Gondolin was really here, with him. Suddenly all the years of
loneliness, of a hopeless longing and unfulfilled desire melted away.
Glorfindel felt Erestor shaking with a myriad of emotions, and merely held him close.
When he felt young elf growing calmer, he pulled back a little and looked him over
carefully.
"Sweet Elbereth, Erestor. You indeed have grown up, and you are just as stunning as I
remembered!"
Erestor was almost as tall as himself, fairly slender but strong. The eyes had yet to
lose that amazing luminescent quality and the skin he could feel beneath his hands
was softer than the finest silk.
Glorfindel could not help it. He leaned closer again, and tentatively pressed his lips
against Erestor's soft mouth.
That first kiss nearly shattered his mind from the intensity of the feelings that surged
to the fore.
*Ai, Glorfindel*……Erestor whispered into the kiss.
Only thing mattered now……Glorfindel, this embrace, gentle but full of passion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I have ceased to be an elfling, Glorfindel! I simply do not want any celebrations for my
majority ritual."
Glorfindel chuckled as his gaze wandered over Erestor's lean body.
"Indeed you are no elfling, meleth nín, but are you certain about the celebration? I
want to give you everything I can, to make you happy."
"You are with me, and that is more than enough to make me happy. Except……"
Erestor's voice trailed and he looked suddenly nervous.
"What is it, pen-neth……tell me. You know that I cannot deny you anything. I have
loved
you since I first laid my eyes upon you."
Erestor drew in a deep breath, his eyes never once leaving Glorfindel's face.
"I……want to bind myself to you. I want to know that I am yours and only yours till the
end of Arda."
Glorfindel felt his heart almost burst with love. Erestor's simple declaration stirred his
very soul, and he felt hot tears begin to well in his eyes.
"Erestor……melamin……I said……I'll give you everything, and if you want to be mine
forever,
so will it be." Glorfindel replied, his voice thick with emotion.
Through a small smile, Erestor bowed his head.
"Before you bind yourself to me, there is one more thing you should know. That
night……when Maeglin tried to force himself upon me……what he said to you about my
mother……it was true……" Erestor couldn't continue, simply waited for the
condemnation
in Glorfindel's eyes.
There would be none as the other Elf reached out with tender fingers and stroked his
cheek.
"Do not chastise yourself, nor judge your mother for the choices she made in her life.
You are different and therefore not destined to walk her same path. You are Erestor
from Gondolin……fair, beautiful, and loyal beyond death. Elrond trusts your wisdom
above many others and wishes to make you his chief counselor." Glorfindel raised
Erestor's chin until their eyes met again.
"And I love you so very much that words fail me. Le annon veleth nín……I give my love
to you."
And before Erestor could speak again, Glorfindel took his hand and began the
heartfelt vow, which would bind them together, forever.
"I love you more than life itself, and my home is in your heart, now and forever. Linnon
am meleth vîn…… For you my soul is singing, for you and only you my heart is
pounding.
You are the only love of my life, the other part of my soul, my beloved and cherished
spouse from this moment till eternity. Every day I thank Valar for you, for your love, for
your very being."
Erestor listened Glorfindel's warm, mellifluous voice, his eyes filled with the wonder
and miracle of love. Was it merely a few days ago that he'd been resigned to a life
bereft of this powerful being who'd captured his heart from the first? He could hardly
believe that this was really happening.
Glorfindel was with him……wanted him……wanted to be his……forever.
There was no hesitation, no doubt as Erestor repeated the words from his heart:
"I love you more than life itself, and my home is in your heart, now and forever. Linnon
am meleth vîn…… For you my soul is singing, for you and only you my heart is
pounding.
You are the only love of my life, the other part of my soul, my beloved and cherished
spouse from this moment till eternity. Every day I thank Valar for you, for your love, for
your very being."
And after the last words faded to become stars in the firmament of love, he was in
Glorfindel's arms, captured in a breathless, loving kiss.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Erestor……melamin……I will never let you go……" Glorfindel whispered between their
shared kisses.
"Let's go home," Erestor said, shaking from the force of something he never imagined
he'd ever feel.
"I do not want to wait anymore. I want to be yours……in all ways……"
Glorfindel laughed thickly at the desparate need that echoed his own.
"Melin ceni hin lîn síla i 'eladhach. (*I love to see your eyes shine when you laugh.*)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Many saw them as they walked hand in hand through the city, but the new lovers had
eyes only for each other.
No one disturbed their quiet sojourn, even to offer felicitations and long life. They
merely wondered what had happened to the Erestor they were familiar with -- cold,
distant and lonely -- whom no one had ever been allowed to know. They could easily
see he was a totally different being now, almost luminous with love.
Moreover, the same emotions radiated from his unknown companion's face.
Chapter 3
When they finally reached their destination, Erestor suddenly grew nervous.
Glorfindel immediately went to his side as the door closed behind them.
"What is it, meleth?
"I……I……know what to do for I have heard the elleths speak of it, and yet……." he
admitted
shyly.
Glorfindel smiled tenderly, stroking Erestor's thick tresses.
"Do not fear meleth nín……I can promise you only pleasure from my hands. I only ask
two things of you……"
"And they are……"
"That you tell me at once, if you feel uncomfortable with anything we do."
"I will……and what is the second?"
Glorfindel's eyes darkened with desire.
"Promise me……do not hold anything back……do not shield your pleasure from
me……scream to the heavens if it is what you feel when we touch. I want you enjoy this
as much as I."
Erestor met Glorfindel's gaze, and hot tremors ran through him.
"I……promise. I love you so much." Erestor's fear faded to hungry urgency as his entire
soul realized what he needed this moment was Glorfindel, his husband, his only love.
"Make love to me now..."
Glorfindel didn't need to be told twice. He guided his beloved to the bathing chamber,
and prepared a warm bath for the both of them. When the tub was filled with steamy
water, he turned and took Erestor in his arms.
"Now……let me undress you. Let me see how beautiful you truly are, lirimaer."
Erestor stood as Glorfindel's gentle hands removed his clothing piece by piece, taking
time to kiss every inch of the skin being slowly bared to his eager gaze. To the older
Elf, Erestor was perfection incarnate, as if the Valar when creating the Firstborn had
taken especial time to shape and mold the impossibly beautiful elf who now called
him husband.
Erestor, unable to see the look of love in Glorfindel's eyes blushed furiously. He was
unsure if the Elf would still find him desirable. Erestor's worries instantly eased when
Glorfindel shed his own clothing and was evidently aroused.
"Aye, melamin. As you see……I really do want you very much." Glorfindel stepped into
the tub and sank down into the water, never once taking his eyes from Erestor's pale
moonlight body.
"You are so beautiful……so desirable……come to me. I want you in my arms……"
He opened his arms and Erestor eagerly went to him. He sat between Glorfindel's
thighs, his back against firm chest.
Glorfindel moaned when he felt a warm, incredibly soft body pressing against his. He
pulled Erestor as close as possible, caressing him tenderly. Erestor writhed in
Glorfindel's arms, and his breathing quickly became labored.
"Does that feel good, Erestor nín," Glorfindel asked gently, the water swirling quietly
around them.
"Ai……" Erestor groaned deeply, feeling a slow heat building inside of him.
"……more……please……" He never imagined such intense pleasure as this, just from
these
warm and loving caresses. He finally understood what the elleths meant, of how the
power in a touch could make one's soul sing. This was what he'd been missing all his
life.
He felt his lover's arousal pressing against his buttocks, making his enjoyment even
more powerful, knowing that he was the cause.
When Glorfindel took Erestor's length in his hand, it was all he could do to lean his
head against Glorfindel's shoulder while his lover pressed heated kisses on his neck,
and those firm hand stroked him up and down, stretching his pleasure over and out
until he was mindless with it. The hand on him felt like many hands, playing his body
like an instrument, coaxing symphonies of raw and naked desire from him. A low
moan escaped Erestor's lips as a surging wave of bliss crashed over him, making him
shudder and beg and pant and plead for still more.
Glorfindel shared his groans, the sounds of Erestor's completion echoing throughout
the room. His beloved was so tempting, caught up as he was in the midst of his newly-
awakened passion, and it almost proved his undoing. He simply closed his eyes and
savored Erestor's trembling body grown pliant against his own.
"It was……it was……" The Elf turned and pressed a passionate kiss on Glorfindel's
lips,
still lightly shaking from his first experience in love.
"……I never knew it could be anything like this……I mean, I know what they say……but
Ai
Valar……"
Glorfindel nuzzled Erestor's swan-like throat, grinning like a madman.
"Oh, melamin……this was merely the beginning. There is so much more I will show
you……so many different ways to love you, and you will know them all before this night
ends."
He rose in a graceful shower of water cascading from his body, and now Erestor had
the chance to fully see Glorfindel in his glory -- slender with powerful corded muscles
with his long, strong hands. Hands that had been his gentle guide into this unknown
world. The sight of him nearly took the sensitive Elf's breath away.
"You are so beautiful……Glorfindel……" Just saying his beloved's name made him
shiver
lightly again. The way it sounded on his tongue. If a name could have a flavor,
Glorfindel's would be the finest, sweetest delicacy from Yavanna's own table.
Glorfindel's answer was to snort.
"I? Compared to you, my beloved, I am merely a pale shadow of your own beauty. Did
you never see how much the other Elves desired you?" When a frisson of fear passed
over Erestor's face, he added softly,
"Nay, I did not mean that way……but they did desire you……to love you as should be
loved and worshipped."
As he helped Erestor to his feet, drying them both with large towel, Erestor said,
"The only being whose regard matters to me most is yourself. It is your love that has
given me hope."
Leaving the bath chamber, Erestor took his clothes and was about to dress when
Glorfindel stopped him.
"You shall not need those anymore……" he teased, nibbling on the highly sensitive
point
of Erestor's ear,
"At least not before tomorrow."
He led Erestor to the bed -- their bed now -- and tenderly lowered his beloved onto it,
then lay beside him.
Glorfindel was taken aback when he saw the beginnings of shining tears in Erestor's
eyes.
"Erestor, melethen? What is wrong? Have I done something wrong……Goheno nin
(*forgive me*)……I never meant to bring you pain……"
"Nay……I just...I still cannot bring myself to believe this would ever happen……all of
this……I was certain that I had lost you forever, before I even had the chance to love
you."
"Leave it behind, melethen. I am here now and there is no possible way that I will ever
leave you." Glorfindel softly kissed Erestor's trembling lips. The kiss deepened quickly,
when Glorfindel felt his beloved's mouth open to receive more. He slid his tongue into
that tempting mouth, and tasted every inch of it until they both panted heavily.
"Do you know how much I love you," Glorfindel breathed, sharing the oxygen and his
words.
"I fell in love with you the very moment you came into my sight, and while I knew it
for what it was, I was terrified……I felt myself no better than that thrice-cursed
Maeglin, because even as I rescued you from him, I found myself wanting you
too……and you were a mere elfling……I was ashamed of my lust……"
This time it was Erestor who offered comfort, holding himself close to Glorfindel's
body.
"There was no cause for you to feel that way for I knew was safe with you. For the first
time in my life I felt at peace as I slept in your arms. And now……I'm not an elfling
anymore……" Erestor whispered with determination, pressing even closer.
"Please……make love to me……make me yours."
"You are mine……until the end of Arda……and even beyond that for I will not be parted
from you……"
Glorfindel captured Erestor's lips once more, and this time their kiss wasn't gentle, but
full of passion and need as Erestor grew steadily bolder in the giving as well as in the
receiving of pleasure. He gasped when he found himself covered by Glorfindel's strong
and aroused body. His whole being was on fire as his lover caressed and kissed him
with the fervor of one starved. He stroked Glorfindel's back and shoulders, marveling
at his beloved's soft skin.
Erestor whimpered when he felt gentle but strong hands once more stroking his
arousal as lips traveled slowly downward.
"Glorfindel……"
"Shh……I want to taste you, Erestor nín……"
He dropped his head and plant a tiny kiss on the tip of his beloved's length. The quiet
little moan became a long and loud cry when he finally took Erestor completely in his
mouth.
Glorfindel moaned as he tasted his beloved's heavenly flavor on his tongue. His other
hand cupped and massaged his beloved's heavy sacs, while the other gently caressed
silky, lightly trembling thighs.
"Glor……findel……by……oh sweet Valar……Ni quorya (*I'm drowning*)," Erestor
panted,
slowly but surely sliding towards total abandon. The mouth on him was doing things
he never imagined a mouth could do.
"Come, melamin……for me……" Glorfindel urged, murmuring around Erestor as he
pulled
harder with his mouth.
"Come to me……"
And once again Erestor came, crying his beloved's name.
Glorfindel savored every precious drop, leaving none, greedy for still more and
continued to milk Erestor until there was nothing left. No meal, no feast had ever
satisfied him as much.
He waited until the butterfly tremors stilled, then took Erestor in his arms again.
"What you do to me……" Erestor panted huskily, with wonder. "It is like magic……"
"Indeed……and there is still so much more than this……"
"More……I want it all……everything……"
Glorfindel's answering chuckle was throaty as he began to softly caress Erestor's firm
buttocks. "Greedy melleth……you shall have as much of me as you will ever want……"
Carefully he began to caress the untouched opening, amazed at the softness here,
and speechless at being allowed the gift of showing this beautiful being what
pleasure truly was.
Erestor opened and relaxed from the sensual touch as one finger slid inside him.
"Does that feel good," Glorfindel asked in a hungry whisper, while gently moving his
finger in and out. He was determined for this not to cause pain, and no matter how
long it took, he would do just that.
"This is where I take you, lirimaer……how I finally make you all mine."
Erestor squirmed enticingly. The second finger felt a little strange, but not painful.
White-hot waves of pleasure burst through him as those fingers brushed against a
place inside of him that made him feel like an explosion of liquid gold. He tried to
push against Glorfindel's hand, aching to feel that amazing feeling once more.
Teasing fingers moved inside Erestor's tight channel, stroking that secret spot over
and over again.
"Ai Glorfindel, meleth……show mercy……love me……"
It was an almost painful longing and he so desperately needed Glorfindel to fill that
emptiness. To fill him with his love, and to make him finally complete. When Glorfindel
finally moved closer, Erestor opened, welcoming him.
"Aye Erestor nín……now……" Glorfindel whispered as he placed himself gently above
his
husband.
Erestor cried Glorfindel's name, when he finally entered him, making him fully his own.
Erestor's whole world had changed. He was full. Full of Glorfindel. Full of his love and
passion.
"I love you so much……yes……more...love me……" Erestor panted, swaying his hips
pleadingly.
"Erestor……my beloved……you feel heavenly……" Glorfindel started to move and
Erestor felt
a flood of sensations burning in his body with incredible power. He arched, giving
himself to Glorfindel, to their common pleasure. Rapidly growing heat drowned
everything around them. There was only Glorfindel and pure rapture burning inside
their whole beings.
Glorfindel couldn't hold back his hoarse cries, and he knew he wouldn't last long. He
kissed Erestor's lips until he felt the blood boiling his veins. His hand gripped tightly
around Erestor's erection, starting to move with same rhythm as their rising and
falling hips. Neither the past nor the future existed -- only the present. Only this
blissful moment, as they moved together like leaves swaying in a gentle breeze which
led them nearer to the peak of fulfillment with every thrust. Their shared moans may
have been heard within Mandros' halls when both finally reached their release, first
one then the other.
Erestor's face radiated love, happiness and contentment, his eyes shone brighter than
any star.
"I never knew……" Erestor mumbled sleepily, burying his face Glorfindel's neck. "I
never
knew such joy could be mine……"
"Nor did I, beloved. But I see you are exhausted. Sleep, melamin. We can arrange
everything else tomorrow. And this time you will wake up in my arms.
"Do you promise that?"
"I shall even swear it, if you want. Nothing can separate us anymore. Sleep now. You
need rest."
Erestor fell into a dreamless perfect sleep, and Glorfindel refused to let him go. He
stroked his beloved's raven locks, thinking how lucky he was. It was a very rare gift,
that one had second chance at life.
A second chance at happiness.
Finally he fully understood what blessing had been bestowed upon him that fateful
night, so many years ago.

"Are you not nervous, melamin," Erestor asked, regarding his lover with a careful eye.
"I know how you feel about all these ceremonies, but we were bidden by Lord Elrond to
represent Imladris."
This time it was he, not Glorfindel who took him in a soothing embrace before the
massive doors opened slowly.
"No, not nervous, just eager for this to be over so that I can get you back to our
chambers and love you until the sun rises on the morrow." Glorfindel took Erestor's
hand.
They led each other before the High King, Elessar Telcontar, and his Queen, Arwen,
known as The Evenstar.
"I am Glorfindel of Gondolin," he said with a bow. Raising their joined hands he said
with pride. "And this is Erestor of Gondolin, my beloved husband."
